University Recommended Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship 2024 is offered for Masters, PhD degree in the field of Science.
The application must be submitted by January 31, 2024, at the latest. The University of Tokyo is offering this scholarship, which has a value of partial funding, tuition, and a monthly stipend of up to 3,000 yen. Except for Japan, all countries are eligible for this Scholarship.
University Recommended Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship 2022 is offered by the University of Tokyo for international students planning to pursue their masters or doctoral programs at the University’s school of science.
Eligibility:
International students with stellar academic records are required to apply.
The applicant must be applying to the Graduate School of Science in Japan for a Master’s or Doctoral program starting in September 2022.
The applicant must have earned at least 2.30 out of 3.00 in university over the last two years of study.
The applicant must continue to meet the same academic requirements the whole program.
A citizen of a nation with diplomatic ties to Japan is required of applicants.
Those who were citizens of Japan at the time of application are not eligible. Nonetheless, candidates who hold dual citizenship with another nation, live outside of Japan, and intend to renounce their Japanese nationality before to arrival are qualified.
Applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1988.
Applicants must meet the language requirements in either English or in Japanese as described by the University.
