Eligibility: 

International applicants are welcome to apply for the scholarship.
The applicants for the scholarship must be enrolled in the University of Hamburg for a minimum of two semesters and be working toward a degree.
The applicant should have a very strong college degree, and their academic excellence is taken into consideration.
The University of Hamburg’s internationalization should be aggressively promoted by applicants for the University of Hamburg Merit Scholarships in Germany in 2024.

• The motivation letter should be included.
• A copy of the candidate’s residence permit.
• PIASTA project proposal is required.
• If the applicants are Master’s students in the first semesters, then the applicant should submit their final diploma.
• Opinions (two) are required by his/her professors.

Benefits: 

• The successful applicants of University Of Hamburg – Merit Scholarships in Germany, 2024 will receive a monthly stipend of EUR 850. Depending on the availability of funding, individual doctoral researchers may be awarded a merit scholarship totaling 1,000 euros per month.
