University of Auckland Rachael Award 2024 In New Zealand

The Prize was established in 1997 and is financed by Lyn Hume. This Prize is for the top woman student in Stage I of Gender Studies.

Eligibility: 

• The University of Auckland Rachael Award will be awarded annually to the top woman student in Stage I of Gender Studies.
• As a minimum standard, the student must have achieved a GPA of 7.00 (equivalent to an A- average).

Application Process:

Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.

Benefits: 

• The value of the University of Auckland Rachael Award 2024 will be NZD 500 and will be used for the purchase of books.

The University of Auckland Council will present the University of Auckland Rachael Award 2024 on the suggestion of the Deputy Head (Academic) of the School of Social Sciences (or designee), after consulting with the Gender Studies Discipline Convenor. If there are no candidates with enough merit in any given year, the University of Auckland will not be required to award the Prize. There might be no sharing of the University of Auckland Rachael Award.
