Mabuchi Motor Co., Ltd., a renowned producer of small electric engines, founded the non-profit Mabuchi International Scholarships Foundation in 1990. By assisting bright students from developing nations who want to study cutting-edge studies in Japan, the foundation aims to contribute to the community’s development.
The organization awards scholarships to deserving students who were accepted by graduate or undergraduate institutions in Japan. For the length of the student’s studies in Japan, the scholarships will pay their tuition, living expenses, and travel costs. The organization also provides funding for cultural activities and the study of the Japanese language.
Students from Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America who are under 30 and have a strong academic record as well as a proven commitment to helping their home country develop are eligible for the scholarship program. Candidates must be fluent in either English or Japanese and hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.
Since its founding, the Mabuchi International Scholarship Foundation has awarded scholarships to hundreds of students and has made a significant contribution to the advancement of global education and comprehension.
