Eligibility criteria for the International Merit Based Scholarships:

  • Applicants of International Merit Based Scholarships must have an offer letter for a masters in Arts, Celtic studies and Social studies at the University of Cork to avail of this scholarship.
  • Students applying for International Merit Based Scholarships must be non-EU nationals to avail of this scholarship.
  • Candidates applying for International Merit Based Scholarships must surpass the admission requirements set by the University.

Value of the University College Cork:

The tuition fees for all selected candidates for international merit-based scholarships will be waived in the following ways:

Students who accept their offer of a spot will receive a 20% fee reduction if they have an undergraduate degree with a 1H (or GPA equivalent).
10% price discount for students who accept their offer of a spot and have an undergraduate degree with a 2H1 (or GPA equivalent) grade point average.
Students holding a 2H2 (or GPA-equivalent) undergraduate degree receive a €1,000 fee reduction upon accepting their offer of a place .
