Eligibility for the Ian James Evans Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be either a wheelchair user, blind, or deaf.
Be entirely self-funded.

Students with repayable loans (e.g., Maintenance Loan from Student Finance England for living expenses) are considered self-funded.
Students receiving a Tuition Fee Loan from SFE are not eligible.
Register for the first year (Year 1) of a full-time undergraduate LLB degree at the University of Essex in October 2025.
Be applying to study within Essex Law School for the 2025–26 academic year.
Meet the standard conditional offer set by the University.
If applying via UCAS:
- Actively make Essex their firm choice by 12 July 2025.
- Applicants who default to Essex via rejection by another university are not eligible.
If applying directly:
- Must accept their offer by 12 July 2025.
Apply for the scholarship by 31 July 2025, 11:59pm (GMT).
Be available for promotional activities if awarded the scholarship.
