The HIIA Future Leaders Program for 2025 is now accepting applications. The HIIA leadership program 2025 offers students and young professionals a unique chance to live in Budapest, Hungary, while studying leadership and international relations. This exciting opportunity is being offered by the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA).
From September 15 to December 15, 2025, the program will take place and participants will come from around the globe. You can apply without an application fee and without having to take the TOEFL, IELTS, or any other language test. The fully supported leadership program is open to young professionals under 30 and graduate students. Over the four-week duration, you will visit renowned institutions, engage in workshops led by specialists, and explore the wealth of Hungary’s cultural heritage. In Budapest, a breathtaking and historic town that ranks among Europe’s finest, you will have the chance to connect with fellow young activists from across the world.

Eligibility Criteria:
- possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher and be a recent graduate in one of the following (or similarly related) fields:

- Be able to dedicate roughly thirty hours a week to working in person at HIIA’s Budapest headquarters.
