Gerda Henkel Foundation Doctoral Scholarships 2024 In Germany

Eligibility: 

• The scholarships are open to PhD students of all nationalities.
• The academic excellence of the candidates is taken into consideration and highly qualified applicants are preferred.
• Candidates applying should be from subject areas related to Archaeology, Historical Sciences, Historical Islamic Studies, History of Art, History of Law, Prehistory and Early History, and History of Science.
• The scholarship will be provided for up to 2 years.

Documents required for Gerda Henkel Foundation Doctoral Scholarships 2024 : 

The application form must be filled out and submitted by the candidate.
A tabular CV should be no more than eight pages in length.
should contain the timetable and the work. It should also be noted that visits to libraries, museums, and archives are sometimes necessary.
A statement outlining the anticipated costs for travel and materials must be submitted.
Master’s degree certificates as well as seminar certificates need to be sent in.

  • Basic Scholarships worth EUR 1,920.
  • Monthly family allowance: with one child: EUR 480; with more than one child: + EUR 120.
  • Expatriation allowance: EUR 480.
  • Travel expenses: as required.
