The objective of The Dingledine-Bluestone Scholarships is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality, to enroll to study at the University.
The Dingledine-Bluestone Scholarship is given in recognition of exceptional academic accomplishment, leadership ability, and volunteerism.
A 1250 SAT score (out of 1600; writing portion not taken into account) or a 27 ACT score (composite only) are required for admission. Applicants must also have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 unweighted scale or an 89 on a 100-point scale. If you decide to meet this requirement, James Madison University must get your test results by November 1st and must receive them in writing from the testing organization.
For the term of the award, all Dingledine-Bluestone Scholars must be Honors College students in good standing.
