The prestigious and competitive Master’s scholarship with full financing for Public Policies and Good Governance – PPGG by DAAD Germany is now open for applications. Since 2009, DAAD’s Helmut-Schmidt Program (known as Public Policies and Good Governance) supports future leaders from Africa, Central and Latin America, Asia, Middle East countries and also Ukraine (see list of eligible countries below) who want to promote democracy and social justice in their countries of origin. New candidates and people with experience can apply for DAAD scholarships in Germany.
This fully-funded scholarship is designed to qualify future leaders in politics, law, economics and administration in accordance with the principles of good governance and to prepare them in a practice-oriented course for their professional life. The graduates with a first university degree will have the opportunity to obtain a master’s degree in disciplines that are of special relevance for social, political and economic development of your country of origin. The knowledge and experience acquired in Germany will allow the fellows to contribute later to the democratic establishment.
Economic and social systems aimed at overcoming social differences. The DAAD scholarship supports good governance and civil society structures in selected partner countries and regions. The program is funded by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. The duration of this scholarship is one or two years, depending on the master’s course and university.
