Clifford Craig Foundation Medical Honours Scholarship at University of Tasmania 2025 In Australia

Established in 1992, the Clifford Craig Foundation is a health promotion charity that supports the Launceston General Hospital, the tertiary referral hospital for North and Northwest Tasmania. The purpose of the Foundation is to improve the health of the community that it serves through the provision of funding for innovative medical research, education of health professionals, and funding of medical equipment and patient facilities within the hospital. The Foundation generously supports an annual Honours scholarship to enable Medical students to undertake research activity through the Launceston General Hospital.

Eligibility Criteria for Clifford Craig Foundation Medical Student Research Scholarship:

• Available to students commencing in Year 4 at the Launceston Clinical School in 2026, with the intention to remain at the LCS in Year 5.
• Selection will be competitive and will be based on the response to application questions and academic achievement in the first three years of the medical degree.

Value of Clifford Craig Foundation Medical Student Research Scholarship:

$12,000 over 2 years ($6,000 per year), with the possibility of additional funding for publication costs of a resultant paper.
