The UCD Global Excellence Scholarship 2026 is available for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the university’s chosen fields.
The deadline for submitting your application is March 31, 2026. Only 50% to 100% of the tuition is covered by this scholarship, which is provided by University College Dublin UCD. Non-EU, EEA, and Swiss Confederation citizens are eligible for this scholarship. Deserving overseas students can apply for a limited number of Global Excellence Scholarships, which cover 50% and 100% of tuition.

Eligibility Criteria:
- be considered non-EU/EEA for the purposes of tuition fees.
- Before applying for the scholarship, have an offer, conditional offer, accept, or conditional accept status for a program that qualifies.
- Become self-sufficient.
Note:
No other scholarship for tuition fees may be paired with the Global Excellence Scholarship.
The following are not included:
- Online courses
- Programs that are part-time
- Clinical initiatives
- Programs begin in January
- Programs for offshore campuses
- The Foundation Year pathway at UCD International Study Center
Advantages:

- 50% scholarship for tuition (half waiver)
Deadline:
- 1 February 2026: North American undergraduate candidates
- 28 February 2026: Candidates with undergraduate and graduate degrees (Middle East, Africa, Pakistan; South Asian grads)
- All other candidates (undergraduate and graduate teaching) must apply by March 31, 2026.
