In a new move, the government of Pakistan has announced 4,500 new scholarships for Afghans, these scholarships are for Afghan students, and other international students cannot apply for these scholarships and enjoy their benefits.
Students interested in studying computer science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, or management are encouraged to apply. Students pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree are eligible to apply for the positions available at the institution known as Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Candidates must have earned their high school diploma after 12 years of study (Shahada Nama).
Before the deadline for scholarship applications, students must be between the ages of 17 and 23.% minimum for general subjects: As per the IBCC Pakistan equivalent methodology, applicants must exhibit a minimum of 60% in their marks.
Candidates must pledge to return to their native Afghanistan at the end of their study term
Previous recipients of HEC or any other Pakistani organization’s scholarship are ineligible.
It is expected that candidates will have obtained the necessary academic credentials prior to the scholarship deadline

This award does not apply to clinical medical sciences MSc or PhD programs.
Candidates must have studied the same subject for their M.Sc. ( Master of Science ) or M.Phil. ( Master of Philosophy ) in order to be admitted to the PhD program.
