Wellington Graduate Award at Victoria University of Wellington 2025 in New Zealand

The Wellington Graduate Award is aimed at encouraging undergraduate students to pursue graduate studies and research degrees at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. This scholarship provides financial assistance to both domestic and international students undertaking Honours degrees or Master’s degrees Part 1.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be fully enrolled at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in a full-year programme by the start of Trimester 1 in the following year of application.
• Eligible programmes include postgraduate Honours degrees, Master’s degrees taken via coursework with at least 90 points at the 400 or 500 level, and postgraduate diplomas recognized as Part 1 of a two-year Master’s degree.
• The scholarship is not available for post-experience or vocational Master’s degrees such as the MBA, MIM, or MIS.
• Applicants must have achieved a minimum A grade average (GPA 8.0) at 300-level or above, although the actual minimum GPA requirement may vary based on available funds.

Value of the Scholarship:

The scholarship contributes to tuition fees up to the value of NZD 5,000. International students will be responsible for paying the difference between the full international student fee and the domestic tuition fee.
