Vice-Chancellors Scholarship at UWE Bristol 2026 In UK

Eligibility for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship at the University of West England:

Applicants must:

• Be in their final year of a UWE Bristol undergraduate degree in 2025/26
• OR have completed a UWE Bristol undergraduate degree in 2024/25 academic year.
• Have applied to progress to an eligible postgraduate taught (PGT) course at UWE Bristol starting in September 2026.
• Apply when invited after receiving an offer for a PGT course (some course exclusions apply).
• Be enrolled in a full-time or part-time course (part-time scholarships only for Home fee-paying students).
• Be enrolled in courses taught and validated by UWE Bristol (validated but not taught courses are excluded).
• Have no outstanding debts to the university at registration.
• Not be fully sponsored by an employer or professional body for tuition fees (partial sponsorship allowed, discount applies to remaining fees).
• Understand scholarships are limited in number and some courses are excluded (due to external funding, accreditation, etc.).

• Doctor of Health Psychology
• MRes Applied Sciences
• MRes Health and Care Research
• MRes Social Research (Sustainable Futures)
• LLM Bar Training Course
• LLM and PGDip Solicitors Training Course
• Education courses, including some PGCEs
• Online courses and distance learning
• Degree Apprenticeships
• Postgraduate Certificates (PGDip)

Application Process:

Applicants for postgraduate courses will get an offer letter including a link to apply through the UWE Bristol Welcome portal.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a discount equivalent to 50% off the full course cost, including the 20% alumni discount.
