Eligibility for University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB)’s Chancellor Scholarship in China, 2025:

• Must non-Chinese students in good health.
• For Bachelor’s program must have a high school graduation certificate and age between 18 and 30.
• For Masters program must have a Bachelor degree and age under 40.
• For Doctoral program must have Master degree and age under 45.

Documents Required:

• Two copies of following documents are required of which one is original of Notarized and another is duplicate.
• Print out of Admission Application form.
• USTB Chancellor Scholarship Application form.
• Original Certificates either in Chinese or English.
• Official Transcripts for Masters and Doctoral Candidates.
• Personal Statement of above 800 words in a Masters programme and more than 1500 words for the Doctoral programme.
• Two Letters of Recommendations.
• Language test scores:
  • Chinese-taught program: HSK level 4 (bachelor), 5 (master) or 6 (doctorate);
  • English-taught program: IELTS 5.5 or TOFEL 70 (bachelor), IELTS 6 or TOFEL 80 (master and doctorate)
• Passport’s photocopy.
• Health Certificate.
• Acceptance letter from Supervisor.
• Publications and other relevant documents to support the application.

Value of University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB)’s Chancellor Scholarship in China, 2025:

• The successful applicants of USTB Chancellor Scholarship will receive either Full or Partial Scholarship.
• Under Full Scholarship, the applicant will receive:
  • Tuition fee waiver.
  • On-campus Lodging.
  • Living allowances of 2500CNY/month for Bachelor, 3000CNY/month for Master, 3500CNY/month for Doctorate.
• Health Insurance.
• Partial Scholarship will depend on the strength of the Application.
