The University of Melbourne is offering human rights scholarships to students who are pursuing research in the human rights field.

Eligibility criteria: 

The University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship applicants must hold a four-year honors degree with an upper second-class honors ranking or above.
The candidates must to have submitted an application to study graduate research in human rights at the University of Melbourne.
The candidates shouldn’t have finished a course that was equivalent to or more advanced than the one for which they had applied.
The candidates for the University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship ought not to have been awarded the award in the past.
Candidates who have enrolled in the University’s research program should have 12 months left to complete their full-time or comparable candidacy.

Benefits:

• A living allowance of $42,000 per year. The living allowance may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, maternity, and parenting leave.

• $3,000 for students relocating from outside Australia, or $2,000 for students relocating from States or Territories outside Victoria.
