The UCD Iseult Honohan Doctoral Scholarship aims to attract exceptional academic talent to pursue a PhD at the UCD School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe) by offering training, experience, and mentorship for professional development.

More Scholarships:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Apply to one of the UCD programs listed below:
      • International Relations and Politics PhD, or
      • Quantitative and Computational Social Science PhD (requires an SPIRe supervisor).
  • possess a minimum of a 2.1 Master’s degree (GPA 3.6).
  • In order to be eligible for the award, applicants without a Master’s degree must have a final score of 2.1.

Not qualified:

  • Ongoing PhD candidates
  • Students who begin their studies after September
  • Students under supervision outside of SPIRe
  • Only a portion of the PhD is being transferred to UCD.

Benefits:

      • whole cost of tuition (both EU and non-EU).
      • stipend of €25,000 per year for a maximum of four years.
