Letje Lips Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (LLAMS) at University of Amsterdam 2025 is offered for Masters degree in the discipline of Humanities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• possess a nationality outside of the EU or EEA and be ineligible for mandatory tuition costs.
• Be a first-year student at the University of Amsterdam pursuing a degree.
• Have submitted a comprehensive application to the Graduate School of Humanities for a one-year, non-selective English-taught Master’s degree (Research and Dual Master’s courses are NOT eligible).
• Meet all entry requirements for the Master’s program, including English language proficiency.
• Be able to comply with visa restrictions.
• Enroll in the University of Amsterdam full-time by August 31, 2025.
• Be able to pay some payments (housing, immigration charge) prior to arrival (May/June).
• Not have been granted another scholarship in addition to LLAMS (must notify Admissions Office if awarded another scholarship).
• If selected conditionally, send certified documentation (diploma, transcripts) before 1 August 2025.
• Be able to afford the rest of their study and living expenses; LLAMS does not cover all expenditures.

Advantages:

The Letje Lips Amsterdam Merit Scholarship gives a prize of €20,000, with seven (7) scholarships available for the school year 2025-2026.

Procedure for Applications:

• Apply for a Master’s degree through My Info by January 15, 2025, at 23:59 GMT+1.
• After submitting the Master’s application, fill out and submit the LLAMS scholarship application via the official LLAMS application portal (accessible from 3 December 2024 until the deadline).
