The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2023-2025 is offered for Masters degree in the field of Public Health, Conflict, Security and Development and Education.
The World Bank is offering this scholarship, which has full funding, which includes tuition costs, economy class airfare, a $500 travel stipend, and a monthly sustenance allowance. Only nationals of a few chosen underdeveloped nations are eligible for this scholarship.
Applications for master’s degrees in development-related fields are open to citizens of specific developing nations who have previously supported their governments’ development efforts and possess the necessary professional experience through the JJ/WBGSP. Subject to funding availability, JJ/WBGSP offers scholarships for 52 Participating Master’s Programs at 27 universities in the US, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan in crucial development subjects such infrastructure management, tax policy, and economic policy management.
The applicant has to fill out an online application form to apply for this scholarship and submit two letters of recommendation to complete the application.
JJWBGSP Participating Programs:
Air travel in economy class during the start of your study program and right after the scholarship period ends, between your home country and the host university. Scholars will receive two-way airfare, a travel allowance of US $500 per trip, tuition for their graduate program, and the cost of basic medical insurance through the university in addition to these benefits.
a monthly subsistence grant to cover all living expenditures (housing, food, books, etc.) while on campus throughout the scholarship period. Depending on the host nation, the allowance’s amount varies.
