The Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship is an application-based scholarship offered to those who have received a study offer from UEA. The prize includes a scholarship good for up to three years of undergraduate study. The university panel has regular sessions and awards £4,000 for the best entries each year. Nominations for a £10,000 annual award will be accepted for entries of extraordinary quality. This award is meant to recognize international fee-status applicants who have been extended an offer by UEA and who can convincingly explain how attending UEA would help them make a major contribution to their field of study as well as the UEA community.

Eligibility:

• The student must be an international student paying fees associated with their overseas status. The scholarship will be terminated if the fee status changes while the student is enrolled.
• Applicants seeking scholarships must have an offer from UEA, either unconditional or conditional, to enroll in a full-time undergraduate degree program.
• To be accepted, the candidate had to have chosen UEA as their firm preference university rather than their insurance choice. To be admitted to the University, the recipient of the scholarship offer must fulfill all outstanding requirements.
• The student must be self-funded, cover their tuition costs, and not be supported by the government or any non-governmental organization.
• This prize cannot be used to supplement any other UEA scholarship.
• The panel’s judgment is final.

Non-eligible courses:

Scholarships are not applied to studies abroad or industry years. Scholarship applications for MB/BS Medicine, BSc Physiotherapy, and BSc Occupational Therapy are not accepted.

Application Process: 

For consideration in the 2024 Global Excellence Scheme, video applications are needed. You should record your responses to the following two inquiries from the university:
