Outstanding graduate students who wish to conduct research at the University that will result in a higher degree are given the NUS Research Scholarship. The Scholarship includes a monthly stipend in addition to a tuition cost waiver.

Eligibility for the NUS Law Research Scholarship:
- Applicants must have graduated with an undergraduate degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper division) / Honours (Distinction) or equivalent.
- Candidates should have been offered admission to / or already admitted to a full-time graduate research program at NUS.
- Students must be eligible for MOE Subsidy.

- Scholars in a Ph.D. program may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to $500 per month upon passing the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination (QE).
