Value:

• A minimum academic qualification of First Class Honours (H1) or its equivalent (H1E), as recognized by Monash Malaysia, is required of applicants.
• Candidates must fulfill the requirements for scholarship eligibility as well as the minimal prerequisites for admission (academic and English language proficiency).
• Scholarships are given out based on an applicant’s research output, academic record, and/or previous research experience.
• Prior clearance from the scholarship office is required for applicants who receive financial aid or an award from an outside sponsor or sponsors. A competitive process is used to offer the scholarships.

The scholarship’s value:

The chosen applicants will get a monthly stipend of MYR 2,850 in addition to a 100% tuition cost waiver.

Students who complete two years of the program are awarded research master’s degrees.

Candidates for doctoral degrees are granted their degrees for a period of three years, or six months until the scholarship expires or their thesis is submitted, whichever comes first.
