Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong Research Grant, 2022 IN UK

The research grants are offered by the society to support the students undertaking geographical research in the Greater China region (People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Macau SAR, and Hong Kong SAR).

Eligibility for Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong Research Grant, 2022:

• Candidates applying for Hong Kong Research Grant must be registered with a UK Higher Education Institution.
• Candidates who have not previously had the opportunity to study in the Greater China region will be given preference.
• Candidates must be take up field research relevant to their studies.
• Fieldwork will be taking place in the Greater China region.
• The fieldwork will be of more than four weeks duration.
• Fieldwork in the Greater China region will greatly benefit the research work.
• Individual applicants will be given preference.

Documents Required:

• Applicants of Hong Kong Research Grant are required to provide two referee statements.
• Candidates must submit a copy of their CV with appropriate experiences and expertise.

Value of Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong Research Grant, 2022:

• The Ph.D. recipient of Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong Research Grant will get £2,500.
• The undergraduate recipient of Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong Research Grant will get £1,000.
