Royal Charter 40th Anniversary Scholarship at the University of Buckingham 2024 In UK

The University of Buckingham established a new scholarship program for deserving candidates seeking research degrees in honor of the university’s royal charter being granted on February 11, 1983.

Eligibility: 

Awards will be given to candidates who have strong academic records and bright futures. For PhD applications, it’s common to need a strong resume, an outline proposal, and distinction in the master’s project or thesis components. A strong curriculum vitae, an exceptional proposal, a first-class undergraduate degree, and exceptional performance in any research component are usually required for applications to a Master’s by Research.

Value of the scholarship:

• Home Applicants: The entire tuition fee for home applicants will be paid by the university.
• International Applicants: International applicants will only be charged the difference between the UK and international fee rate

Application Process:

To be considered for the scholarship, the applicants should:

• Using the Course Finder and the “Apply Now” button located at the bottom of the appropriate program page, fill out a standard application for the chosen research program and entrance point.
• Get the RC40A Further Particulars and read it.
• contact the Department or School directly that they believe will host their study. (You can find contact details and an overview of the research interests of individual faculty members in each of the university’s four faculties by clicking on the Faculty links in the Staff Directory.)
• To ensure that the project is in line with regional goals and has access to the required supervision, send an outline research proposal labeled “RC40 Scholarship Proposal” to the relevant department or school. (Each Department/School will indicate what has to be included or provide a template that works well for the submission.)
