For Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in all fields—with the exception of pharmacy, theology, distance learning, medicine, and agricultural technology—Queen’s Family Scholarship 2023 is available.
Your application must be submitted by a deadline that varies. This scholarship is offered by Queens University Belfast and only covers tuition fees and a 20% first-year fee reduction. Except for UK citizens, all nationalities may apply for this scholarship.

The Queen’s Family Scholarship is exclusively for new International students beginning an eligible full-time program in the academic year 2023/24 at the Queen’s University Belfast campus and are the children, grandchildren or siblings of Queen’s alumni or current Queen’s University Belfast students.

Eligibility for the Queen’s Family Scholarship:
- Candidates applying for Family Scholarship should be children, spouses, or siblings of current students or Queen’s University Belfast alumni.
- Applicants should be enrolling in an undergraduate program full-time at the University and should have an offer of a place from the University in a full-time program.
- Applicants are expected to meet any academic and language conditions attached to their offer.
- Candidates studying on a part-time basis or on foundation degrees or distance learning programs are not eligible.
- Students must be self-funded.
Value of the Scholarship:
This scholarship is awarded as a discount for the first year only and is deducted from gross tuition fees. The scholarship cannot be used in place of any required deposit and no cash alternative is available.
