Professor Barbara Raw Masters Scholarships for English 2025 In UK

The Barbara Raw Masters Scholarships for English is named in honor of a former Royal Holloway student and rewards high-achieving students of English. Two scholarships are available for full- or part-time postgraduate students with Home or International fee status studying a taught Master’s in the Department of English.

Eligibility for the Barbara Raw Masters Scholarships for English:

• Applicants must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, high grades in A-level or equivalent.
• Candidates should hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study one of our following degrees under the Department of English.
• Students must provide a supporting statement of no longer than 400 words, which should include academic achievements, why they have chosen to do the degree they have applied for and future aspirations, and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.

Value of the Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the Barbara Raw Masters Scholarships for English will receive an award of value £10,000 (payable over three years).
