In Turkey, applications are now being accepted for the MEDIT / ACI PhD Scholarships 2025–2026. All international students from all around the world are welcome to apply for scholarships at Ibn Haldun University. We strongly encourage students interested in pursuing a doctorate (PhD) in Turkey to apply.
The Turkey Scholarship program offers financed scholarships for the 2025–2026 school year.International candidates are welcome to apply to Ibn Haldun University’s Doctor of Civilization Studies program in Turkey. The institution will cover the tuition and stipend for students from other countries.

Qualifications
- Candidates from all around the world are encouraged to apply for the doctoral scholarships offered by Ibn Haldun University.
- Ibn Haldun University accepts applications for its PhD program in civilization studies.
- English Language Proficiency:
- The Turkish Council of Higher Education, or YÖK, must accept a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 84 or its equivalent in CAE, CPE, PTE Academic, or YDSAccepted tests.
- Exclusions from the English language test:
- Native speakers of English
- Candidates with a minimum three-year bachelor’s degree from recognized US, UK, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand universities
- Before enrolling, applicants who are unable to take the test for national reasons must submit a valid score; otherwise, their admission may be canceled.

- A one to three minute (in English) film presenting yourself and your academic interests must be included.
- Evidence of fluency in English (see English language requirements)
- Scores from the GRE and/or ALES are optional but highly recommended.
- Transcripts and degrees from undergraduate and graduate programs
- Minimum GPA: 76.66/100, or ≥ 3.00/4.00If the degree is being completed at the time of application, a final diploma is needed before enrolling.
- German, English, French, Arabic, and Turkish are the languages that are accepted; all other languages must be formally translated into either English or Turkish.
- Two recommendation letters from academic institutions
- Statement of Purpose: Two pages at most, single-spaced, in English
- Writing Sample (required): no more than 20 pages in English
