Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in the PhD Programme at IBS.
- Fulfill the requirements and progress of the PhD Programme; PhD admission and progress take precedence over GTA roles.
- Indicate their wish to be considered for a GTA role.
- Successfully complete a demo teaching session (required once on location in Budapest, normally from semester 3).
- Participate in teacher training beyond standard PhD workshops, as deemed necessary by the Head of Academic Services.
Value of PhD Scholarship – Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) at International Business School (IBS), Hungary 2025:
Discount on tuition fees (applied to the initial tuition payment) based on weekly 45-minute teaching hours:
- 2 classes per week → 20% grant
- 4 classes per week → 40% grant
- 6 classes per week → 60% grant
- 8 classes per week → 80% grant
If the grant is approved, students must pay the remaining tuition fee by the invoice deadline. The fee is non-refundable.
