PhD Scholarship – Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) at International Business School (IBS) In Hungary 2025

The IBS PhD Scholarship supports enrolled PhD students who contribute to teaching regular modules at IBS as Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs).

Eligibility Criteria for PhD Scholarship – Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) at International Business School (IBS), Hungary 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in the PhD Programme at IBS.
• Fulfill the requirements and progress of the PhD Programme; PhD admission and progress take precedence over GTA roles.
• Indicate their wish to be considered for a GTA role.
• Successfully complete a demo teaching session (required once on location in Budapest, normally from semester 3).
• Participate in teacher training beyond standard PhD workshops, as deemed necessary by the Head of Academic Services.

Value of PhD Scholarship – Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) at International Business School (IBS), Hungary 2025:

Discount on tuition fees (applied to the initial tuition payment) based on weekly 45-minute teaching hours:

• 2 classes per week → 20% grant
• 4 classes per week → 40% grant
• 6 classes per week → 60% grant
• 8 classes per week → 80% grant

If the grant is approved, students must pay the remaining tuition fee by the invoice deadline. The fee is non-refundable.

Application Process:

• Be enrolled in the PhD Program at IBS.
• Indicate your wish to be considered for a GTA role.
• Complete a demo teaching session if requested.
• Upon approval, participate in teacher training as required.
• Grant allocation is based on teaching hours per week.
