Brief Description:
Since 2016, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (AW) has provided an entering fellowship. Highly qualified scientists who intend to submit a proposal to the OeAW and who meet the requirements for Marie Skodowska Curie Individual Fellowships or an ERC Starting or Consolidator Grant will thus have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their future host institution and the OeAW’s services before preparing applications for grant programs.
Eligibility:
Scientists from all disciplines who are eligible to apply for a Marie Skodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, an ERC Starting Grant, or an ERC Consolidator Grant and who want to take advantage of one of these funding opportunities and conduct the research are invited to submit applications.

Benefits:
The HORIZON Incoming Fellowship subsidizes accommodation costs of up to a maximum of EUR 8,100/fellow (maximum EUR 2,700/month for a maximum of three months) as well as the one-time reimbursement of travel expenses (outward and return journey).
