Eligibility Criteria for NUS President’s Graduate Fellowship 2025:
Applicants must:
- Be nominated by the University for the PGF (award is by nomination only).
- Be admitted or will be admitted as a full-time PhD candidate at NUS.
- Demonstrate exceptional promise or accomplishment in research.
- Be available to stay in Singapore for the duration of the scholarship, except during approved leave.
Application Process:
All eligible candidates are nominated by the university. The candidates cannot directly apply for the fellowship grant.
Value of the Fellowship:
The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:

- Singapore Citizen – SGD 4,300
- Singapore Permanent Resident – SGD 3,900
- International Student – SGD 3,400
- Full Tuition fees,
- One-off air travel allowance for one-way ticket of up to SGD 750,
