Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must apply to a Flemish higher education institution for a Master’s program.
  • A higher education institution outside of Flanders must have awarded the prior degree.
  • Except in a few specific preparatory programs, students who are currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution are not eligible.
  • Academic excellence: a GPA of at least 3.5 or 4.0, for example.
  • English language competency, as measured by the TOEFL 94 and IELTS 7.0, if English is not the first language.
  • This award cannot be combined with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or another Flemish government scholarship.

  • Although travel expenditures might not be covered, the award is meant to assist with living expenses, housing, insurance, etc.
