The Kazakhstan Scholarship for International Students will be accepting applications in 2024, according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. International applicants are eligible to apply for full-time bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.

International students can apply for the Scholarship through the RK Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In addition to tuition costs, selected applicants will receive a monthly stipend.

a bachelor’s degree identity paper (Tazkira);a high school degree, transcript, and attachment with a “Good” grade, together with a certified translation into Kazakh, Russian, or English inspiring essay in Kazakh, Russian, or English;one recommendation letter from a previous workplace or educational institution in English, Russian, or Kazakh;The official health authority of the candidate’s home country should issue a medical certificate for study abroad that includes reports from therapists, narcologists, psychiatrists, and X-rays, along with laboratory tests and a medical certificate attesting to the absence of AIDS and HIV infection.

Acceptable certifications in English:

German language accepted certificates: IELTS Academic with a minimum score of 5.5; TOEFL IBT with a minimum score of 46; TOEFL PBT with a minimum score of 453.

German language proficiency exams for university entrance (DSH, Niveau B2/level B2), TestDaF-Prufung (Niveau B2/level B2); French language credentials that are accepted:

A minimum of B2 in the reading and listening parts of the Test de Français InternationalTM (TFI), a minimum of B2 in the Diploma d’Etudes en Langue française (DELF), a minimum of B2 in the Diploma Approfondi de Langue française (DALF), and a minimum of 50 points on the Test de connaissance du français (TCF).

Documents and Applications Process

The following materials can be used to submit an application for the 2024 Kazakh Republic Scholarship Program:

Initially, use the Apply Now tab above to access the Operator’s website and submit the necessary documentation. The provided documents will be checked by the operator. If all of the required documents are submitted, the applicant will receive an email with a link to take an online test. All applicants are evaluated for their potential to adapt via an online test. Successful candidates will receive an invitation letter for an interview after clearing the online exam. The Operator, universities, and representatives of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education will conduct online interviews with the shortlisted applicants. The competition results will be announced as the last stage.
