Applications for Persian Gulf Scholarships for 2025–2026 are being accepted by Persian Gulf University in Iran. This scholarship is available to foreign students who wish to continue their higher studies in Iran.

General prerequisites:

  • Candidates cannot be nationals of Iran or the Islamic Republic.
  • Legal restrictions on staying in Iran or pursuing further education must not exist.
  • must present a current physical and mental health certificate that has been authorized by the university’s certified medical facilities or by the political or consular offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the student’s home country.

Particular Needs:

  • For admission to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, applicants must have a minimum certificate that is equal to finishing one of the required educational courses in Iran, such as high school (12 years of formal education), bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, respectively.
  • The candidate must submit all transcripts and certificates of study to the Iranian Embassy for permission if they have previously studied outside of Iran.
  • The appropriate council must approve initial admission to master’s and doctorate programs.
