Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) PhD Scholarship at International Business School (IBS), Hungary 2025 is available for PhD students who teach undergraduate BSc modules at IBS.

Your application must be submitted by November 20, 2025. The International Business School (IBS) in Hungary provides this scholarship, which can cover up to 80% of the tuition fees. All citizens can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

• be enrolled in IBS’s PhD program.
• Complete the PhD program’s criteria and advancement; entrance and advancement for the PhD come before GTA positions.
• Declare that they would like to be considered for a GTA position.
• finish a demonstration lesson (usually from semester 3) that is required once in Budapest.
• As required by the Head of Academic Services, take part in teacher training outside of the typical PhD workshops.

Advantage:

1. Two weekly classes → 20% grant
2. 40% grant for four lessons per week.
3. Weekly six classes → 60% grant
4. Eight classes a week = 80% of the grant

Procedure for Applications:

• be enrolled in IBS’s PhD program.
• Say that you would like to be considered for a GTA position.
• Finish a demonstration lesson if asked.
• As required, take part in teacher training after being approved.
• Weekly teaching hours are used to determine grant distribution.
