Humboldt Research Track Scholarship 2025 In Germany

The Humboldt University of Berlin is offering Humboldt Research Track Scholarships in Germany to students to pursue Ph.D. in their University or Masters graduate of the HW-Berlin to pursue Ph.D. at other German University.

Eligibility for Humboldt University of Berlin – Humboldt Research Track Scholarships:

• Applicants must be Masters or Ph.D. students enrolled or about to commence at the University.
• Graduates of Humboldt University at another University are also eligible.
• To enable more prospective doctoral candidates with disabilities or chronic illnesses to prepare for a doctorate will be given particular consideration.
• Must present a high-quality research proposal.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• Completed online application form;
• Curriculum vitae (max. 2 pages);
• Sketch of the research proposal (max. 2.250 characters);
• Certificates of the academic degrees, including certified translations;
• Letter of recommendation from the Master thesis supervisor or from one of the instructors from the Master’s program;
• Expert review of the proposal of the doctoral project by the mentor at Humboldt-Universität the candidate wishes to work with during the funding period.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The successful applicants of Humboldt University of Berlin – Humboldt Research Track Scholarships in Germany will receive:
  • Monthly stipend of EUR 1,000 for up to six months.
  • Child support of EUR 400 per month for the first child and EUR 100 for each additional children.
• The Humboldt University of Berlin – Humboldt Research Track Scholarships in Germany can be extended for up to six months (subject to conditions).
