Eligibility criteria for the Hugh McDougall Rankin Education Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be full-time undergraduate students undertaking a degree in a physical science subject
- Have successfully completed at least one year of tertiary study at Lincoln University, University of Canterbury, or Ara Institute of Canterbury
- Have four or more years of secondary schooling in a state (not state-integrated) school within Christchurch City
- Be under the age of 25 at the time of application
- Have a B+ Grade Point Average or higher
- Previous recipients, including secondary school recipients, are eligible to apply
Value of Hugh McDougall Rankin Education Scholarship:
Domestic tuition fees up to NZD $7,000.
