Italian citizens residing abroad (IRE) and foreign nationals living outside of Italy are eligible to apply for grants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)*. These funds are intended to encourage Italian language and culture, advance international collaboration in science, technology, and culture, and bolster Italy’s economy internationally. Study, training, and research programs at reputable public higher education institutions in Italy are eligible for grants.
