- A monthly stipend of $2,800 for international students is increased to $3,300 on passing the qualifying exam. The respective amounts for Singapore citizens are $3,200 and $3,700, along with the employer’s contribution to CPF (up to 4 years). The respective amounts for Singapore Permanent residents are $3,000 and $3,500.
- A $12,000 research allowance for purchasing software and books, academic travel, and a one-off expense towards the computer.
- A reimbursement of $1,500 for airfare to Singapore.
Documents Required for the CQT PhD Scholarships:
- A true certified copy of the National Service Certificate (if applicable).
- Curriculum vitae.
- Certified true copies of certificates and awards/prizes (if any)
- A true certified copy of passport or NRIC.
- GRE scores are compulsory for applicants applying for the 2023-24 intake and onward.
- A true certified copy of high-school results or equivalent.
- Certified true copies of degree scrolls and university transcripts or Open Certs (if applicable).
- Any other supporting documents that will make your application strong e.g. personal statement.
- A passport-sized photograph taken in the last three months. It should be clear and in-focus, 45mm high, 35mm wide and without any border.
Singapore Fully Funded Scholarships Process :
- Applications are open throughout the year.
- Applicants should contact one of the Principal Investigators/supervisors (PIs) by emailing your CV and supporting documents e.g. transcripts, etc., requesting if they can supervise students.
- Decide on a preliminary project with a Principal Investigator.
- After a PI agrees to supervise you and a decision is made on the project, forward the approval email to cqtphd@nus.edu.sg
- You will be asked to apply officially through the NUS online application system.
- Send your CV and the following documents in hard form by post to the CQT Program Administrator after filling online application.
