DAAD – Study Scholarships For Foreign Graduates In The Fields Of Fine Art, Design/Visual Co In Germany

Eligibility:

• The candidates applying should have received a first university degree in the fields of Fine Art, Design/Visual Communication, and Film.
• The funding will be provided for a Master’s degree/postgraduate degree.
• Funding will also be provided for a complimentary course at a state or state-recognized German university of the candidate’s choice that does not lead to a final qualification.
• The duration of the funding will be between 10 and 24 months.

Selection criteria:

•  A special DAAD committee selects the candidates. The committee includes professors from German universities.
• The selection of the candidates is based on written applications and work samples submitted.

• The successful candidates can receive a monthly payment of 931 euros.
• The scholarship award covers payments toward health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
• Grant also covers the travel allowance, monthly rent, and one-off study allowance.
