Eligibility for DAAD – Study Scholarships For Foreign Graduates in Germany, 2022:

• The program me is open to international applicants.
• The recent degree of the candidate should not be more than six years old.
• Candidates should not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months.
• The applicants should have enrolled in a Master’s or postgraduate degree program me.
• If the applicants are from the fields of Drama and Direction, they are expected to have an excellent command in German.
• If the applicants are from the fields of Musicals, Dance, Performance Studies and Choreography should have at least a basic knowledge of German.
• Applicants are also expected to have good knowledge of English.

Selection criteria

• The candidates are selected by a special DAAD committee. The committee includes professors from German universities.
• The selection of the candidates is based on written applications and work samples submitted.

  • Monthly payment of 850 euros.
  • Travel allowance.
  • Monthly rent.
  • One-off study allowance.
  • Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance are covered by the scholarship award.
