Eligibility For Australia 2023:

  • Applicants must hold an unconditional or a conditional offer to be eligible.
  • Must meet all conditions by the scholarship closing date.
  • Applicants intending to pursue undergraduate studies must have completed senior high school.
  • He/She must have secured an entry score that equates to a Queensland Tertiary Education rank of 96 or higher.
  • For postgraduate programs, applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree.
  • He/She must have achieved a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 6 or higher on a 7-point scale.
  • Must not have already started their studies at UQ, even if they seek a change of program.
  • Applicants are not permitted to hold another scholarship.

Selection Criteria:

  • Applicants will be selected based on their academic performance as demonstrated by their Grade Point Averages (GPA).
  • Applicants’ potential to contribute to science, assessed by their personal statements will be considered .
