The Arthur F. Church Entrance Scholarships were established by the University of Waterloo to provide financial aid to individuals who intend to enroll in undergraduate programs there. One scholarship is given to a student in Mechatronics Engineering and another to a student in Computer Engineering or Systems Design Engineering each year to deserving students starting their first year in the Faculty of Engineering.

Eligibility criteria for the Arthur F. Church Entrance Scholarships:

• Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
• Applicant must apply for an undergraduate engineering course in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Systems Design Engineering.
• Applicants must be full-time, first-year students in a degree program and begin university or college for the first time.
• Applications will be selected based on academic performance and the Admission Information Form (AIF).
