The ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics will award scholarships known as the ANU Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics Masters (Advanced) Scholarship 2024.

Eligibility: 

• A person shall be eligible to receive an RSAA Masters (Advanced) Scholarship if they are currently enrolled at The Australian National University in a program of study leading to the award of a degree of Master of Astronomy and Astrophysics (Advanced).
• Must not receive Commonwealth support for this program.

Selection criteria for ANU Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics Masters (Advanced) Scholarship:

(a) Academic merit.

(b) Preliminary commitment for appropriate supervision.

(c) Reports from two referees familiar with the applicant’s work.

Benefits of ANU Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics Masters (Advanced) Scholarship:

• The scholarship provides a stipend of up to AUD 20,000 over a maximum period of two years.

Application: 

• Applications for scholarships beginning in Semester 1 must be submitted by February 15th of the relevant year.
• Applications for scholarships beginning in Semester 2 must be received by July 15 of the relevant year.
