The German Embassy in Pakistan has said that it has introduced a new online system that will expedite and simplify the process of granting work and study visas to Afghans.

The German Embassy in Islamabad announced on its Facebook page that beginning on June 1st of this year, candidates can register their visa applications and upload the required documents online through the German Federal Foreign Office’s consular services webpage.

The announcement states that all work and study visa applications will only be accepted online starting on May 1 and that candidates who have not received an appointment through the waiting list by that date will no longer be allowed to use the prior appointment process.

The German Embassy claims that this new method will speed, simplify, and increase the transparency of the application examination process.

“You can submit your documents step-by-step with ease and security. You will receive online comments from us regarding the accuracy and completeness of everything. You can separately set up an appointment for your Pakistan entrance visa once your documents have been fully submitted, according to the notification.

According to the notice, files will be given priority attention and will advance to the appointment stage more quickly if the application is completed from the start.

The European Union Blue Card visa, work visas for university graduates, skilled workers with vocational training, work experience-based programs,  job search visas, job opportunity cards, and study and vocational training visas are currently among the visas that can be registered through this system, according to the information provided.
