The France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship Program 2026 In France

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs created the France Excellence Eiffel scholarship program as a tool to help French universities recruit top international candidates for Master’s and Doctoral/PhD degree programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be internationals students.
• Applicants must be enrolled in either a Master’s or Doctoral program offered at a French Higher Education Institute.

  • Engineering
• Humanities and Social Sciences

Application Process:

• Students and foreign institutions cannot directly apply for the scholarship.
• The applications should be sent by a French Higher Education Institution.
• The candidates must contact the international relations department of a French Institution to know about the application procedure and the deadlines.

Benefits of the Scholarship:

• Master’s level
  • France Excellence Eiffel scholarship holders receive a monthly allowance of €1,200, to which are added several services: International transportation, national transportation, insurance, housing searches, cultural activities, etc.
• Doctorate level
  • France Excellence Eiffel scholarship holders receive a monthly stipend of €2,100, which includes several services: international transportation, national transportation, insurance, housing searches, cultural activities, etc.
