Eligibility Criteria for IFK Research Fellowships at the International Research Center for Cultural Studies, University of Art and Design Linz :

• Applicants can be of any nationality.
• Austrian applicants are preferred.
• Applicants must have a Doctorate or a Ph.D. at the time of application.

 Application Process:

Interested candidates must submit an online application (in German or English) and submit the following documents:

• Cover Sheet with the academic title, name, and departmental as well as institutional affiliation.
• Short abstract of the project (max. 1.000 characters incl. blanks).
• Research proposal (max. 1,200 words, incl. footnotes, excl. bibliography).
• Core bibliography relevant to the research project (1 page max.)
• Academic CV/list of publications (5 pages max.).

Value of the Scholarship:

The selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:

• An expense allowance of up to EUR 2,387 monthly.
• A workspace at the IFK with an iMac and internet access.
• One-off arrival and departure costs to and from Vienna.
• Rent allowance.
