International students may now apply for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarships for 2026–2027. Every year, IsDB offers a number of scholarship programs to students from Muslim populations in non-member nations as well as those from IsDB member nations. In particular, for the September 2025 intake, scholarship applicants may enroll in bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, or postdoctoral research programs at accredited universities.

After examining the background of IsDB scholarship programs, the Bank created the undergraduate Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities (SPMC) in 1983. IsDB established the Merit Scholarship Program (MSP) for postdoctoral and doctoral research after ten years of operation. Since 1992, MSP has helped students pursue their studies in high technology and applied science, strengthening the scientific, technological, and research capabilities of institutions in Member Countries (MCs).
