For PhDs in the fields of science, social science, humanities, applied and engineering sciences, and health care research, NWO Talent Program | Veni 2025 is available. You have until January 27, 2026, to submit your application. This fellowship, which is worth up to EUR 320,000 in partial funding, is offered by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).

With the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) Program, researchers have the freedom to pursue any kind of research. Recently graduated researchers can apply for the NWO Talent Program VENI. Researchers with exceptional academic qualifications are awarded Veni grants. Aims of the Veni grant include providing researchers with the opportunity to become independent in their work.
