Helmut Veith Stipend at Vienna University of Technology 2025 In Austria

Eligibility for the Helmut Veith Stipend:

• Applicants must be eligible for admission to one of TU Wien’s English-taught master’s programs in Computer Science for 2025/2026, including:
  • Master in Logic and Computation
  • Master in Business Informatics
  • Master in Computer Engineering
  • Master in Data Science
  • Master in Media and Human-Centered Computing
  • Master in Software Engineering and Internet Computing
• Funding can be applied for before or during the admissions process but will only be awarded to those who have been unconditionally admitted. Application for funding does not replace the admissions process.
• Female students who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply for the stipend:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent degree
  • Strong mathematical and technical knowledge in at least one of the following research areas:
    • Logic in Computer Science
    • Formal Methods and Verification
    • Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
    • Algorithms and Complexity Theory
    • Computer Security
  • Proficiency in English.

Benefits:

Students who are awarded the Helmut Veith Stipend receive:

• EUR 7000 annually for a duration of up to two years.
• Waiver of all tuition fees at TU Wien.
